SYLVABOIS is specialized in forest exploitation and first transformation. Created in 1988, it is focused on high quality hardwood logs. A progressive downstream integration has led us to jointly develop different trades:

Each season, more than 20 000 m3  of hardwoods are exploited in several regions :

• Normandy : forests of Bellême, Perche-Trappe, Réno, Moulins
• Ile de France : forests of Rambouillet, Marly, Saint Germain en Laye, Fontainebleau, Villefermoy, Jouy
• Picardy: forests of Compiègne, Laigue, Retz, Chantilly, Halatte, Ermenonville, Hez, Parc Saint Quentin,
• Centre-Val de Loire Valley : forests of Perseigne, Bercé, Blois, Russy, Orléans, Lôches
• Poitou-Charentes : forests of Saint Sauvant, l'Hermitain, Mareuil, Vouillé, Mervent

Our first vocation is oak: 12.000m3. However, we also exploit 1.200m3 of ash, 1.000m3 of chestnut as well as many different hardwoods such as cherry, alder, birch, linden, sycamore.

It is by building up the loyalty of many logging, skidding and transport companies year after year that we succeed in monopolizing these volumes.

The integration of these different trades calls for a qualified staff entirely devoted to the forest and wood trades.
